I have heard this question many times and I can tell you: It is Safe!
Tijuana is a leader in education, politics, transportation, culture, art, and manufacturing and currently one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in Mexico. As the 6th-largest city in Mexico and the center of the 6th-largest metro area in Mexico, Tijuana is conveniently located right next to the USA border and the city of San Diego. Crossing the border, both way is a daily ritual for many people. If you fly to San Diego, you can cross to Tijuana in 25 mins, and you can start your medical journey with confidence. The Mexico Travel Advisory is one of the most reliable information sources, and Tijuana is definitely not included in the list of restricted travel.
I have been fortunate to have traveled extensively across Mexico (and many parts of the world) and have very good knowledge about towns, cities, and metropolises.
“Be confident that Tijuana is one of the cities in Mexico that has all the taste of high quality, first-level hospitals, and outstanding surgeons”
On the other hand, because safety is one of our goals as a leading international healthcare company we do recommend “Smart Travel” by using Uber and/or certified taxis when visiting local bars, night clubs, and casinos. My other suggestion is to try not to display signs of wealth with expensive jewelry or watches. Smart travel is safe travel!
Cosmetic Surgery in Tijuana, Mexico
There are plenty of hospitals, clinics and ambulatory clinics performing cosmetic surgery at absolutely incredible great prices in Tijuana. However, this does not mean that the surgeons are all board-certified and the facilities are the first level with state-of-the-art technology. Don’t let price be your only differentiator when considering your health. You deserve to be treated by the best surgeons, in the best facilities, backed by a company like Moviestar Makeovers that works closely with every partner to deliver consistent great results!
